Program

Day 1
Beginning of the journey from Bologna (or other location available ) . Meeting with the guide and beginning of the luxury coach trip. Arrival in Rome in the afternoon , after lunch. Tour of Baroque Rome, one of the finest walks in the world that starts from the Spanish Steps, to continue on Via dei Condotti , the heart of fashion Capitoline, along Sordi Gallery and Palazzo Montecitorio, Pantheon, impressive architectural masterpiece, until you reach one of the the most spectacular squares of Italy: Piazza Navona, where stands the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini, the church of St. Agnes in Agone and Palazzo Pamphili, who collaborated Borromini. Arrival at the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 2
L'intera mattinata è dedicata alla visita dei Musei Vaticani, tappa fondamentale che racchiude un mondo d'arte di vari periodi storici con capolavori di tutti i tempi: from Raffaello to Tiziano, from Crivelli to Pinturicchio, to finish with the Sistine Chapel, known around the world for Michelangelo's frescoes that cover the vault and the back wall with the masterpiece : the Last Judgement . Afternoon at leisure or opportunity to participate in an optional tour : Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the four papal basilicas, Santa Praxedes, which houses the famous mosaic of the " Carolingian Renaissance ", and climb the steep steps of Via San Francesco di Paola, you come San Pietro in Vincoli, in which dwells one of the sixteenth century masterpieces: Michelangelo's Moses. Return to the hotel for the free dinner or you can attend a dinner with night walk.

Day 3
The day begins with a guided tour of the Colosseum , 2000 years of history and symbolic monument of Rome , and the Roman Forum , to the Roman Forum , ancient square in Rome from where you can appreciate the entire archaeological area . The steps of the Ara Coeli , the perfection of Campidoglio square designed by Michelangelo , the statue of Marcus Aurelius and the Capitoline Museums are a beauty concentrate , history and art. After lunch , the afternoon includes a visit with the tour of the catacombs ( San Callisto , St. Sebastian and Domitilla ) fate in the middle of the first century . , Where 500,000 Christians were buried . Usually underground tunnels , down to great depth ( 20 mt ) and branch off into different levels , flanked by carved niches . Short stop in St. Paul Outside the Walls , and return to the hotel . Day 4
The visit of Rome ends with a short walk with the tour in one of the favorite places , since ancient times , from many of the families in Rome , the Pincio , redesigned in the late eighteenth century by Giuseppe Valadier .
