Program

Day 1:

ARRIVAL/COSENZA
Arrival at the hotel in Cosenza, room accommodation and relax. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2:

COSENZA/RENDE/COSENZA
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Cosenza, the small "Athens of Calabria", founded in the IV sec. a.c. by the Bruzi. From Corso Mazzini with the MAB, Open Air Museum that includes works by Dalì, Cascella, De Chirico, Manzù, Modigliani, Rotella and others, Piazza dei Bruzi, "Cosenza Vecchia", medieval village, Church of San Domenico, Piazza Valdesi, Corso Telesio, "Piazza Grande", the Cathedral, the Rendano Theatre, the Swabian-Norman Castle. Close to the confluence between the two rivers (Crati and Busento), lunch based on typical dishes. Rende. Norman Castle, Church of the Rosary, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Constantinople, Zagarese Palace (Civic Museum). Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 3:

COSENZA/CAMIGLIATELLO SILANO/PARCO DELLA SILA/COSENZA
Breakfast at the hotel. "Sila National Park": stop at a farm a short visit and for the tasting of the "ice cream at Km. Zero". The Park: Visitor Center Dome, wildlife observatories, Museum, Geological Garden, the Botanical Garden. Camigliatello Silano: lunch at the "Farmer’s Market". Walk in the village. On the way back, along the ss106 Silana stop at a prestigious Bakery and tasting of sweet treats and regenerating coffee. Return to the hotel and overnight

Day 4:

COSENZA/BELMONTE/FIUMEFREDDO BRUZIO/AMANTEA/COSENZA
Breakfast at the hotel. Landscapes, villages and flavours true excellences of nature, history, culture and Calabrian gastronomy: Belmonte Calabro, Fiumefreddo Bruzio and Amantea. Belmonte Calabro. Guided tour of the company producing the famous "croquettes" of figs, tasting. Fiumefreddo Bruzio: visit of the old town. Lunch at the farm. Amantea: visit to the historic centre, Palazzo Mirabelli and Palazzo Cavallo Marincola, Chiesa di S. Biagio, Duomo di Amantea, Palazzo delle Clarisse, Accademia Arrischiati, Museo della Copia d'Autore. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 5:

DEPARTURE/COSENZA
Breakfast at the hotel, time at disposal and check-out. End of services.
